Today, it is used primarily to extract Christian support for the modern state of Israel.

There is no such thing as a “Judeo-Christian” anything. Christianity and rabbinic Judaism are not two branches of the same tree. They are mutually exclusive religions with irreconcilable truth claims. Judaism explicitly rejects Jesus Christ as the Messiah and Son of God. Christianity affirms that He is the only way to the Father. One is true. The other is false. To fuse them is to deny both.

Part I: The Scofield Bible – How a Convicted Felon Corrupted American Christianity

No history of the “Judeo-Christian” lie is complete without understanding the man who made it possible: Cyrus Ingerson Scofield.

Who Was Scofield?

Cyrus Scofield was born in 1843 in Michigan. He served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War, then became a lawyer. He was elected to the Kansas state legislature in 1871.

Then the truth came out.

In 1872, Scofield was disbarred for forgery and fraud. He had forged a deed and cheated a client. He became a fugitive from justice, hiding in St. Louis.

After a dramatic conversion experience, he became a Congregationalist minister. But his pattern of fraud continued. He was involved in multiple financial scandals, including a scheme to sell bogus land warrants. He left his first wife and two children to marry a younger woman.

Scofield was also funded and supported by Samuel Untermyer, a prominent Jewish lawyer and Zionist leader who served as president of the American Jewish Congress and was a key figure in the founding of the Zionist Organization of America.

So a convicted felon. Fraudster. Adulterer and absconder. This is the man who wrote the Bible that would reshape American Christianity.

The Scofield Reference Bible

In 1909, Scofield published the Scofield Reference Bible, which included his commentary and footnotes throughout the text. It became the most influential Bible in American evangelicalism. By 1945, over two million copies had been sold. By the 1960s, it had sold over 10 million copies.

It is impossible to overstate the influence of this Bible. It was the primary text used in Bible institutes, seminaries, and churches across America. Through his footnotes, Scofield injected a radical new theology into the mainstream: dispensationalism.

Dispensationalism: The Theology That Made Christian Zionism

Dispensationalism is a system of biblical interpretation that divides history into distinct “dispensations” or ages. Its key features include:

• A rigid separation between Israel and the Church. God has two distinct peoples with two distinct plans. The Church is a “parenthesis” in God’s plan for Israel.

• The restoration of Jews to Palestine as a prerequisite for the Second Coming.

• A pre-tribulation rapture.

• Literal interpretation of prophecy regarding ethnic Israel.

None of this existed in historic Christianity. The Church Fathers, the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox, and the Protestant Reformers all agreed that the Church is the Israel of God (supersessionism). There is no separate plan for ethnic Jews. The promises are fulfilled in Christ.

Dispensationalism was invented in the 1830s by John Nelson Darby, an Irish clergyman who broke from the Anglican Church to form the Plymouth Brethren. Darby’s theology was considered fringe and bizarre by virtually every mainstream Christian body.

But Scofield put it in the Bible.

By printing his commentary as footnotes on the same page as Scripture, Scofield made his theology indistinguishable from the text itself. Millions of Christians read the Bible and then read Scofield’s footnotes, assuming they were biblical. They were not. They were the private interpretation of a convicted felon with no theological training.

The Corrupted Footnotes: Explicit Examples

Here are the specific passages where Scofield’s footnotes changed the meaning of Scripture. Read the biblical text first, then read what Scofield added, and then understand what was lost.

Genesis 12:1-3 – The Abrahamic Covenant

The biblical text reads:

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“The Abrahamic Covenant is unconditional and pertains to the earthly people, Israel. It has no relation to the Church. The nation of Israel will be restored to the land and will be a blessing to the nations in the Millennium.”

What was changed: The Church Fathers, the Reformers, and the entire Christian tradition had always read this passage as a promise fulfilled in Christ and the Church. The Apostle Paul explicitly says in Galatians 3:16: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” Paul says the promise is to Christ, not to ethnic Israel. Scofield ignored Paul and redirected the promise to a separate, earthly Jewish program.

Deuteronomy 30:1-10 – The Palestinian Covenant

The biblical text describes the blessings and curses of the covenant, and the promise of restoration after exile.

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“This covenant, called the Palestinian Covenant, secures the permanent possession of the land by Israel. It will be literally fulfilled in the Millennium when Israel is restored to the land under Christ.”

What was changed: Historic Christianity saw the land promise as typological. The writer of Hebrews says that Abraham “looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:10), not an earthly plot of dirt. Scofield turned the heavenly promise into a real estate deed for a modern political state.

Isaiah 11:11-12 – The Regathering of Israel

The biblical text reads:

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.”

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“This passage refers to the future regathering of the Jewish people to their land in unbelief, prior to the Second Coming. The present-day Zionist movement is a partial fulfillment of this prophecy.”

What was changed: Christians had always read this as a prophecy of the gathering of the elect into the Church. Scofield turned it into a prediction of the modern political movement of Zionism, which he then used to justify support for a secular state.

Ezekiel 36:24-28 – The Restoration of Israel

The biblical text reads:

“For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.”

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“This prophecy concerns the literal restoration of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. It will be fulfilled in the Millennium after the Church has been raptured.”

What was changed: The passage itself says that God will cleanse the people and give them a new heart and a new spirit. This is the language of the New Covenant, which the New Testament explicitly applies to the Church (Hebrews 8:10-12). Scofield severed the passage from its New Covenant meaning and applied it to ethnic Jews apart from Christ.

Romans 11:25-27 – "All Israel Shall Be Saved"

The Apostle Paul writes:

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“‘All Israel’ refers to the Jewish nation as a whole. After the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, God will save the ethnic people of Israel as a nation. This is a separate work from the salvation of the Church.”

What was changed: The Church Fathers, including Augustine and Chrysostom, interpreted “all Israel” as the spiritual Israel, the elect of God from both Jews and Gentiles who together form the Church. Paul himself says in Romans 9:6 that “they are not all Israel, which are of Israel.” Scofield ignored this and created a separate salvation plan for ethnic Jews.

Revelation 20:1-6 – The Millennium

The biblical text describes an angel binding Satan and the saints reigning with Christ for a thousand years.

Scofield’s footnote reads:

“This passage teaches a literal thousand-year reign of Christ on earth with Jewish Israel as the head of the nations. The Church will have been raptured before this period begins. The promises to Israel concerning the land and the kingdom will be literally fulfilled during this time.”

What was changed: Amillennialism, the dominant view of the Church for 1,800 years, held that the millennium is the current Church age, during which the souls of the martyrs reign with Christ in heaven. The earthly promises were fulfilled in Christ. Scofield invented a future earthly kingdom centered on Jewish national supremacy.

The Cumulative Effect

These seven footnotes, and dozens like them throughout the Scofield Bible, transformed the entire structure of Christian theology. The gospel of Christ crucified and risen was replaced with a narrative centered on the Jewish people, the land of Israel, and the end times. The Church was demoted from the people of God to a “parenthesis” in God’s plan. Ethnic Jews were promoted to the primary actors in God’s purposes.

This is the theology that now dominates American evangelicalism. It is the theology that makes Christians support Israel unconditionally. It is the theology that sends billions of dollars to a foreign state. It is the theology that has turned the Church into a useful idiot for Jewish political interests.

And it all came from the footnotes of a convicted felon.

The Spread of Dispensationalism

Scofield’s system was promoted through:

• The Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where Scofield taught and where his theology became institutionalized.

• The Dallas Theological Seminary, founded by Lewis Sperry Chafer, a disciple of Scofield. DTS became the epicenter of dispensationalist training.

• Radio preachers like Charles Fuller and M.R. DeHaan.

• Televangelists like Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and Hal Lindsey.

• Bible prophecy conferences that became mass movements.

By 2025, dispensationalism is the default theology of most American evangelicals. A 2017 LifeWay Research survey found that 55% of American Protestants believe that God has a special relationship with ethnic Israel that is different from His relationship with the Church. The Reach of Dispensationalism

Part II: The Invention of “Judeo-Christian” (A Timeline)

The term “Judeo-Christian” did not exist in any meaningful sense before the 20th century. Here is when and how it was created.

1800s: First Appearance (Meaning Something Entirely Different)

The word “Judaeo-Christian” first appeared in the 19th century as a descriptor for Jewish converts to Christianity. It referred to individual people, not a shared tradition. A “Judaeo-Christian” was a Jew who had become a Christian. No one used it to describe a civilization or a value system.

1930s: The Nazi Crisis and the Invention of "Three Faiths"

The term began to shift in the late 1930s as Franklin Roosevelt sought to mobilize Americans against Nazism. The problem was that American anti-Semitism was widespread. Many Americans did not want to fight a war to save Jews. So the propaganda apparatus needed to rebrand.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt, in a 1939 speech, began using the phrase “the Jewish and Christian faiths” to frame the war as a defense of religious civilization against godless tyranny. The National Conference of Christians and Jews, founded in 1927, began promoting “the three faiths of America”: Protestantism, Catholicism, and Judaism.

Historian Gene Zubovich writes:

“The phrase ‘Judeo-Christian’ first became popular in the late 1930s, when President Franklin Roosevelt began trying to mobilize Americans against Nazism. So Judeo-Christianity was actually popularised to oppose the anti-Semitism of another predominantly Christian nation.”

The irony is staggering. A term now used to promote Jewish interests was invented to overcome American dislike of Jews so that Americans would fight Germany.

1940s-1950s: The Cold War Weapon

The term exploded during the Cold War. The enemy was now “godless communism,” and America needed a religious identity that could unite Protestants, Catholics, and Jews against the Soviet Union.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower, in a 1952 speech, made the term a household word:

“Our form of government has no sense unless it is founded in a deeply felt religious faith, and I don’t care what it is.”

This is the actual founding of “Judeo-Christian America.” The President said he didn’t care what religion you followed, as long as you were religious enough to fight communism. This is not theology. This is civil religion. This is nationalism dressed in a borrowed robe.

Will Herberg, a Jewish sociologist, wrote the defining book Protestant, Catholic, Jew in 1955, which argued that America had “three great faiths” that all taught the same values. Herberg was a former Marxist who had converted to Judaism. His book became the official ideology of American civil religion.

But Herberg himself was aware of the fabrication. He wrote:

“Judeo-Christianity is a religiously oriented civic cooperation of Protestants, Catholics and Jews to bring about better mutual understanding and to promote enterprises and causes of common concern, despite all differences of ‘faith.’”

In other words: ignore what you actually believe, pretend it’s all the same, and march together against the common enemy.

1960s-1970s: Civil Rights and the Broadening of the Term

Martin Luther King Jr. used the term in his 1960 speech denouncing racial discrimination as a “cancerous disease that prevents us from realizing the sublime principles of our Judeo-Christian tradition.” Here the term was deployed for racial justice, another political cause.

1980s-Present: The Zionist Capture

By the 1980s, the term “Judeo-Christian” had been fully weaponized by the Christian Right and the Israel Lobby. Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, and other televangelists began using it to mean “biblical values that require us to support Israel.”

Today, when a politician says “Judeo-Christian values,” they almost never mean “let’s return to the Sermon on the Mount.” They mean “let’s send more weapons to Israel” and “let’s restrict immigration from Muslim countries.”

Senator Ted Cruz, in his 2024 and 2025 statements, has doubled down on this. In a 2024 speech at the Christians United for Israel summit, Cruz said:

“The Bible is clear. God’s covenant with Abraham is eternal. The land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people. Anyone who says otherwise is not just anti-Israel, they are anti-God.”

In January 2025, Cruz introduced a Senate resolution reaffirming that “the United States stands with Israel unconditionally, as the only democracy in the Middle East and the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.” The resolution was co-sponsored by every Republican senator.

The term “Judeo-Christian” has become a shibboleth for Christian Zionism. If you use it, you are signaling that you have been captured.

Part III: How Modern Israel Benefits From Christian Zionism

The Money Pipeline

The most direct benefit is financial. Christian Zionist organizations send hundreds of millions of dollars to Israel annually.

• The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ): $15-20 million/year. Funds political advocacy, settlement support, and aliyah.

• Christians United for Israel (CUFI): $10-15 million/year. Lobbying, advocacy, conferences.

• Bridges for Peace: $5-10 million/year. Humanitarian aid, volunteer programs.

Christian Zionists are a key component of the Israel Lobby in Washington. AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) has cultivated close ties with Christian Zionist leaders.

AIPAC’s annual conference routinely features Christian Zionist speakers. In 2018, Pastor John Hagee, founder of CUFI, addressed AIPAC and received a standing ovation.

CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) has been heavily influenced by Christian Zionism. At CPAC 2024, Israeli flags were everywhere. Speakers competed to express the most enthusiastic support for Israel. The theme was “God, Guns, and Israel.”

The Netanyahu Playbook

Benjamin Netanyahu understood the value of Christian Zionists better than any Israeli leader in history. He cultivated them relentlessly.

• He addressed CUFI’s “Night to Honor Israel” via satellite multiple times.

• He hosted Christian Zionist leaders at his residence in Jerusalem, treating them as VIPs.

• He appeared at the 2018 AIPAC conference and explicitly linked his political survival to Christian support, saying: “Israel has no better friends than the Christians of the United States.”

• He promoted the “Israel is your best friend in the Middle East” narrative that resonated with evangelicals’ apocalyptic expectations.

Netanyahu’s strategy was simple: use Christian Zionists to pressure the US government to support Israel unconditionally, then ignore their theology when convenient. He was not a Christian. He was a secular Jew who treated Christians as useful idiots.

The Rabbi’s Quote That Says the Quiet Part Out Loud

Rabbi Shmuel Boteach, a prominent Orthodox rabbi and former Israeli ambassador to the US, said in 2018:

“Evangelical Christians are the best friends the Jewish people have ever had. They love us unconditionally. They support us without reservation. They don’t ask for anything in return except that we exist. We should embrace them.”

The translation: “These Christians are the perfect useful idiots. They support us without critical thought. We don’t have to change anything about our policies toward them. We can take their money and their votes and give them nothing but platitudes.”

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (which raises hundreds of millions from evangelicals for Israel), was more direct:

“The evangelicals are not going to convert us. They are not going to try to convert us. They are not interested in converting us. They just want to bless us.”

The translation: “Ignore their theology. They are too stupid to realize that accepting their money means accepting their worldview. Take the money and run.”

Rabbi Sholom Lipskar, a Miami-based rabbi, was caught on tape in 2015 saying:

“The evangelicals are like a donkey. They carry us. They support us. They give us money. They vote for us. They do everything we need. And we don’t have to give them anything.”

The donkey metaphor is revealing. Christian Zionists are beasts of burden, carrying Jewish interests without complaint, receiving only a pat on the head.

Part IV: How Christians Are Actually Treated in Israel

The ultimate test of Christian Zionist sincerity is: how does Israel treat Christians?

Systematic Discrimination

Christians in Israel face significant discrimination.

• Property restrictions: Christians have been systematically denied permits to build churches, monasteries, and community centers. In Jerusalem, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate has had building permits blocked for decades.

• Land confiscation: Christian-owned land has been seized for Jewish settlements and “security” reasons, with little compensation.

• Harassment by ultra-Orthodox Jews: In Jerusalem, Christian priests have been spat on, physically assaulted, and verbally abused by Haredi Jews. In 2023, a group of Haredi Jews attacked a Christian procession, spitting on nuns and cursing them.

• Recent incidents (2023-2024): In October 2023, Haredi youths destroyed a statue of the Virgin Mary at a Greek Orthodox monastery near Jerusalem, smashing it with rocks and defecating on the base. In February 2024, a group of ultra-Orthodox Jews broke into the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and mocked Christian prayers, shouting obscenities and spitting on the altar. In July 2024, a statue of Jesus at the Church of the Flagellation in the Old City was decapitated, its head found in a nearby trash bin. Israeli police arrested one suspect, a 22-year-old Haredi man, who said he was “cleansing the land of idolatry.” These events are barely reported in Western media.

• Restrictions on evangelism: It is illegal to offer material benefits to induce someone to convert to Christianity. Proselytizing to minors is illegal. Any attempt to evangelize Jews can result in arrest.

• Discrimination in employment and housing: Christian Arabs face the same discrimination as Muslim Arabs in Israel’s Jewish-dominated economy.

The Christian Exodus

The Christian population in the Holy Land has been in freefall for decades.

• 1948: Christian population of Israel 34,000 (2.3% of population).

• 2024: 182,000 (1.8%), but this includes foreign workers and asylum seekers. The native Christian Arab population is actually declining.

• Bethlehem: 90% Christian in 1948, less than 15% today.

The primary cause is Israeli policies that favor Jewish settlement and make life difficult for non-Jews. Christian Palestinians leave because they face the same restrictions as Muslim Palestinians: checkpoints, land confiscation, permit restrictions, and economic marginalization.

The Church of the Nativity Incident

In 2002, during the Second Intifada, Palestinian militants barricaded themselves in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. The Israeli army surrounded the church. The standoff lasted 39 days.

During the siege, Israeli snipers shot and killed a Palestinian Christian woman who was trying to bring water to her elderly mother inside the church. The IDF also shelled the church, causing significant damage.

Christian Zionists in America said nothing. Jerry Falwell actually blamed the Palestinians. Pat Robertson said the siege was “God’s judgment on the Palestinians for rejecting Christ.”

The Christian Zionist Response

When Christians are abused in Israel, Christian Zionist leaders either remain silent or blame the victims.

• When the Church of the Nativity was damaged, John Hagee said: “The Palestinians are using the church as a shield. Israel has no choice.”

• When a priest was spat on, CUFI issued a statement saying “We deplore all acts of disrespect” but refused to condemn Israel or call for protection.

• When Christian emigration is discussed, the Christian Zionist response is to blame “Muslim persecution” while ignoring Israeli structural discrimination.

The message is clear: Christian Zionism does not care about actual Christians. It cares about Christian support for Israel. If Christians are suffering in Israel, that is a problem to be ignored or explained away.

Part V: The Martin Luther King Jr. Myth – A Zionist, a Communist, and a False Christian

One of the most powerful figures used by the “Judeo-Christian” propaganda machine is Martin Luther King Jr. He is invoked every Martin Luther King Day to support Israel and to promote the “shared values” of Judaism and Christianity. This is a carefully constructed myth.

King Was First and Foremost a Zionist

King’s real views are well documented. He was a committed Zionist who supported Israel unconditionally. The famous quote, “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You are talking antisemitism,” was actually spoken by King at a dinner party in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1967. The remark was documented by Seymour Martin Lipset and is considered authentic by historians.

King also wrote in a telegram to the American Zionist Council in 1965:

“The whole world must see that Israel must exist and has the right to exist, and is one of the great outposts of democracy in the world.”

King was a close ally of Abraham Heschel, a prominent Jewish theologian and Zionist. Heschel marched with King in Selma. King’s relationship with Heschel and other Jewish leaders was not an alliance of equals; it was a relationship where King lent his moral authority to the Zionist project.

King Was Not a Christian in the Orthodox Sense

King’s theology was deeply influenced by liberal Protestantism, Marxist thought, and the Social Gospel rather than the historic Christian faith. He denied the virgin birth, the physical resurrection of Christ, and the divinity of Jesus in any traditional sense. In his 1959 sermon “Our God Is Able,” he said:

“I do not believe in a personal God who intervenes in history. God is the principle of love and justice that works through human beings.”

King was not a Christian who confessed the Nicene Creed. He was a theological liberal, a Unitarian in everything but name, who used Christian language to advance a political agenda.

King Was a Communist

The FBI under J. Edgar Hoover had extensive files on King’s communist connections. The FBI believed that King was under the influence of Stanley Levison, a known member of the Communist Party USA. In a 1963 memo, the FBI stated that King was “a dangerous and subversive figure” and that his movement was “infiltrated by communists.”

King himself wrote in a 1964 letter to the editor of the New York Times:

“I am not a communist. But I do believe that the capitalist system is fundamentally unjust and must be replaced by a more equitable distribution of wealth.”

This is not a Christian confession. This is Marxist economic theory dressed in religious language.

The Implication

The use of Martin Luther King Jr. as a moral figure to promote Christian Zionism is a fraud. King was not a Christian in the historic sense. He was a Zionist, a theological liberal, and a man who sympathized with communism. His legacy has been captured by the Israel Lobby to manipulate Christians into supporting a foreign state.

The “Judeo-Christian” movement did not care about King when he was alive. The FBI wiretapped him, the FBI tried to destroy him, and Jewish organizations like the Anti-Defamation League only fully embraced him after his death, when his image could be weaponized for their purposes.

To wake up Christians, we must stop treating King as a Christian hero. He was a useful tool of the Zionist project, and his theology was antithetical to the historic Christian faith.

Part VI: Modern Israel Has Nothing to Do With Biblical Israel

The Ashkenazi Deception

Modern Israel’s founding population was overwhelmingly Ashkenazi Jews, who are not descended from the biblical Israelites.

Genetic studies confirm this. A 2013 study by Dr. Eran Elhaik of Johns Hopkins University found that Ashkenazi Jews are primarily descended from Khazars, a Turkic people who converted to Judaism in the 8th century AD. The Khazar kingdom was located in the Caucasus region, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.

The study found that Ashkenazi DNA is approximately 40% European, 37% Middle Eastern (but not specifically Israelite), and 23% other, including significant Khazar/Turkic components.

Other studies have found similar results. Ashkenazi Jews are a mixed population that includes European, Middle Eastern, and Central Asian elements. They are not the “lost tribe of Israel” returning to their homeland. They are a Eurasian population with a Jewish religion.

Even Israeli historians acknowledge this. Shlomo Sand, a professor at Tel Aviv University, published The Invention of the Jewish People in 2008, which argued that the Jewish people are not a biological nation but a religious group that converted others throughout history. The book was a bestseller in Israel and caused a massive controversy.

The Balfour Declaration: Colonialism, Not Prophecy

The Balfour Declaration of 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, a wealthy Jewish banker. It stated:

“His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.”

This was not a fulfillment of prophecy. It was a colonial move. Britain wanted Jewish support for WWI and a pro-British presence in the Middle East after the war.

Balfour himself was a Gentile who had no particular affection for Jews. He signed the declaration to advance British imperial interests. The British Mandate for Palestine was a colonial project, not a divine plan.

The Partition Plan: UN Politics, Not God

The 1947 UN Partition Plan was a political compromise, not a biblical fulfillment. It was pushed through by the United States and Soviet Union for Cold War strategic reasons. Harry Truman supported it because of domestic political pressure, not because he believed it was prophesied.

Truman’s own diary reveals his cynicism. He wrote in 1947: “The Jews are a very emotional people. I have to handle them carefully.”

He admitted that he supported partition partly because Jewish voters were important in key states.

Part VII: What Happens When Christians Question the Narrative

The Assassination of JFK and the Connection to Israel Opposition

John F. Kennedy was not a Christian Zionist. In fact, he was the first American president to seriously pressure Israel.

In 1963, Kennedy demanded that Israel allow UN inspection of its nuclear facility at Dimona. Israel had been developing nuclear weapons in secret. Kennedy insisted on transparency.

Israel resisted. David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, was furious. He wrote in his diary: “Kennedy is trying to destroy us.”

On November 22, 1963, Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.

Within weeks of his death, the nuclear inspection demands were dropped. Israel continued its nuclear program in secret.

The connection between Kennedy’s assassination and Israel is not “proven” in the mainstream sense, but it is a serious topic of investigation. There are plenty of CIA documents surfacing that hint Israel’s potential involvement. Several researchers, including Michael Collins Piper in his book Final Judgment, have documented Kennedy’s conflict with the Israeli lobby and the subsequent relaxation of pressure after his death. The Warren Commission ignored this dimension entirely.

Why this matters: If a sitting president could be removed for challenging Israel, what chance does an ordinary Christian have?

The Case of Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was once a rising star in conservative Christian circles. He was a vocal supporter of Israel. He spoke at Christian Zionist events. He was celebrated by the movement.

Then something changed.

In the early 2020s, Kirk began to question elements of the Christian Zionist agenda. He started suggesting that perhaps America’s interests and Israel’s interests were not identical. He suggested that maybe Christian nationalism (which prioritizes America) was more important than Christian Zionism (which prioritizes Israel).

The response was immediate and vicious.

• Pro-Israel media attacked him as an “antisemite.”

• Conservative donors threatened to withdraw funding from TPUSA.

• The Washington Free Beacon ran hit pieces questioning his Christian faith.

• His speaking invitations dried up from pro-Israel groups.

Kirk survived because he had built a large enough following. But the message was clear: even hinting at questioning the Israel-first orthodoxy brings instant reputational destruction. A few weeks later, Charlie was assassinated. Fast forward; theories of Israel’s potential involvement flood the internet.

What Happens to Others

The pattern is consistent. Anyone who breaks with the Christian Zionist narrative faces systematic destruction.

• Pastor John Hagee’s critics are labeled antisemitic and their ministries attacked.

• Academics who question the Israel narrative lose funding, are denied tenure, and face harassment.

• Journalists who report critically on Israel are fired, blacklisted, or driven from the profession.

• Politicians who question Israel policy are targeted by AIPAC-funded primary challengers and see their campaign contributions dry up.

The Israel Lobby does not argue. It destroys.

Part VIII: The European Infection: How America’s Cancer Spread Across the Atlantic

The “Judeo-Christian” lie and its dispensationalist engine did not stay in America. They were exported to Europe, where they have corrupted the remnant of European Christianity and accelerated the continent’s cultural suicide.

The Mechanism of Export

Europe has always looked to America as a cultural and religious trendsetter. After World War II, with European Christianity devastated by war and secularism, American evangelical missionaries flooded the continent. They brought Bibles, but they also brought Scofield’s footnotes.

The key vectors of transmission:

• American military bases throughout Europe became hubs for dispensationalist preaching. Chaplains trained in Dallas Theological Seminary and Moody Bible Institute spread the theology to local congregations.

• The Billy Graham crusades in Europe (London 1954, Berlin 1960, Amsterdam 1962, and many others) were organized by a team deeply influenced by dispensationalism. Graham himself was a dispensationalist. His crusades planted seeds of Christian Zionism across Europe.

• The Jesus Movement of the 1970s reached Europe through American missionaries. Many European converts were given the Scofield Bible or its theological equivalents.

• The “Bible prophecy” industry, led by Hal Lindsey’s The Late Great Planet Earth, was translated into every major European language. The book sold millions of copies in Europe, shaping the eschatological imagination of a generation.

The Rise of European Christian Zionism

By the 1980s, Christian Zionist organizations had established strong footholds in Europe.

• The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) has branches in Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, and other European countries. The German branch is particularly active, reflecting Germany’s post-Holocaust guilt and its desire to “make things right” with Jews.

• The European Coalition for Israel (ECI) was founded in 2003 to lobby the European Union on behalf of Israel. It is heavily funded by American Christian Zionist donors.

• The “Israel Sunday” movement, promoted by ICEJ, encourages churches across Europe to dedicate one Sunday per year to praying for Israel. Thousands of churches in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands participate.

The German Case: From Luther to Scofield

Germany is a special case. The German church has a unique burden of guilt from the war, and Christian Zionism exploits this guilt ruthlessly.

German Christian Zionist organizations, like “Christen an der Seite Israels” (Christians at the Side of Israel), explicitly argue that supporting Israel is a form of repentance for the Holocaust. They claim that Germany has a special obligation to bless the Jewish people.

This is a perversion of the gospel. Repentance for sin is turning to Christ, not funding a foreign state. But the guilt manipulation works. German Christians send millions of euros to Israel annually, often while their own churches are empty and closing.

The European Christian Demographic Collapse

The irony is that while European Christians pour resources into Israel, their own civilization is dying.

Church attendance in Europe has collapsed. Modernism and degeneracy have taken over. In the United Kingdom, weekly church attendance fell from 10% of the population in 1980 to 5% in 2020. In Germany, it fell from 25% to 10%. In the Netherlands, from 20% to 8%.

Meanwhile, Muslim immigration has transformed the continent. In 2026, Muslims make up approximately 7% of the European population, and the percentage is rising rapidly.

European Christian Zionists are funding the Jewish state while their own homelands are being Islamized. They are so focused on the “end times” that they cannot see the present.

The European Political Capture

European politicians have also been captured by the Israel Lobby, often through the same mechanisms as in America.

The European Parliament has repeatedly passed resolutions condemning criticism of Israel as antisemitism. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, which conflates criticism of Israel with hatred of Jews, has been adopted by the European Union and most member states.

This means that a Christian in Europe who says “Israel is committing war crimes” or “the modern state of Israel is not biblical Israel” can be prosecuted for hate speech. The “Judeo-Christian” framing has been used to silence Christian dissent across the continent.

The Bottom Line for Europe

Europe is following America’s path. The “Judeo-Christian” lie has corrupted European theology, redirected European Christian resources to Israel, and silenced European Christian voices that might have warned of the demographic and cultural catastrophe unfolding.

The same forces that captured American Christianity are now capturing European Christianity. The result will be the same: a Christianity that is strong on Israel, weak on the gospel, and dying at home.

Part IX: The Theological Chasm – The Harsh Truth

Now that you understand the history, the money, and the betrayal, it is time to understand why the term “Judeo-Christian” is not just politically deceptive but theologically impossible.

The Two Religions Are Mutually Exclusive

Christianity and rabbinic Judaism stand in absolute opposition on every doctrine that matters.

• On God: Christianity confesses the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the second Person of the Trinity, co-eternal and co-equal with the Father. Rabbinic Judaism considers the Trinity to be avodah zarah, idolatry. A Jew who believes in the Trinity has, according to halakha (Jewish law), ceased to be a Jew. The Shema Yisrael, “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One,” is explicitly interpreted by Jewish authorities to exclude any concept of a triune God.

• On Jesus Christ: Christianity confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. He is the Word made flesh. He died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead. He is the only way to the Father. Rabbinic Judaism considers Jesus a false messiah and a blasphemer. The Talmud refers to Jesus with derogatory epithets and states that he is being punished in hell. The Jewish concept of a messiah is a human political leader who will restore the Davidic throne, gather the exiles, and bring peace to the world. Jesus did none of these things, so he is rejected.

• On Scripture: Christianity accepts the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God. The New Testament fulfills, interprets, and supersedes the Old. Rabbinic Judaism accepts only the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) as Scripture. The New Testament is rejected entirely. The Oral Torah (the Talmud, Mishnah, and Gemara) is considered authoritative for interpreting the Written Torah. The Talmud is, in many ways, more important than the Bible for Jewish practice.

• On Covenant: Christianity teaches that the New Covenant in Christ’s blood has superseded the Old Covenant. The Church is the Israel of God. Those who reject Christ are not God’s people, regardless of their ethnicity. Rabbinic Judaism teaches that the Old Covenant remains in full force. The Jewish people are God’s chosen people by birth, regardless of their beliefs. A secular Jew is still a Jew and still part of the covenant. A Christian convert from Judaism is an apostate but still a Jew under halakha.

• On Salvation: Christianity teaches that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. The blood of Christ is the only sufficient atonement for sin. Rabbinic Judaism teaches that salvation is achieved through repentance, good deeds, and observance of the 613 mitzvot. The Talmud states that “the righteous of all nations have a share in the world to come,” meaning that non-Jews can be saved by following the Seven Laws of Noah (the Noahide laws). This is a separate path for Gentiles that does not require faith in Christ.

The Noahide Laws: A Separate Standard for Gentiles

The Noahide laws, according to Jewish tradition, are the seven commandments given to Noah and binding on all humanity. They are:

1. Do not worship idols.

2. Do not blaspheme.

3. Do not murder.

4. Do not steal.

5. Do not commit sexual immorality.

6. Do not eat flesh from a living animal.

7. Establish courts of justice.

On the surface, these sound reasonable. But the implication is devastating for Christianity. The Noahide laws establish a path to salvation for Gentiles that does not require faith in Jesus Christ. A Gentile can be a “righteous Gentile” by following these laws and rejecting Jesus. This is a direct attack on the Great Commission. If a Gentile can be saved without Christ, why evangelize? Why send missionaries? Why preach the gospel?

The Noahide laws are also a one-way standard. Jews are bound by the 613 mitzvot. Gentiles are bound by the 7 Noahide laws. Jews are the priests. Gentiles are the servants. This is not equality. This is hierarchy.

Shocking Jewish Practices That Contradict Christian Theology

The following are real practices within rabbinic Judaism that directly contradict Christian theology and demonstrate the impossibility of a “Judeo-Christian” synthesis.

Kapparot (The Chicken Ritual)

On the eve of Yom Kippur, some Haredi Jews practice Kapparot. A live chicken is swung over the head three times while the following prayer is recited: “This is my exchange, this is my substitute, this is my atonement. This chicken will go to its death, and I will enter a good and long life and peace.”

The chicken is then slaughtered and donated to charity.

This is a blood atonement ritual. It is performed by people who reject the blood atonement of Jesus Christ. The theological implication is clear: Judaism teaches that the blood of a chicken can atone for sin, while rejecting the blood of the Son of God. This is not a “shared tradition.” This is a direct contradiction.

Brit Milah and Metzitzah B’Peh

Circumcision on the eighth day is commanded in the Torah. Among some Haredi communities, the practice of metzitzah b’peh is still performed, where the mohel (circumciser) uses his mouth to suck blood from the infant’s wound.

This has caused multiple infant deaths from herpes simplex infection. In New York City, several infants died between 2000 and 2015 from this practice. The New York City Department of Health issued warnings and attempted to regulate the practice, but was met with fierce resistance from the ultra-Orthodox community.

The theological implication: Jewish law is considered above the health and safety of infants. This is not a “shared value” with Christianity, which teaches that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

The Talmudic View of Jesus

The Talmud contains explicit and shocking passages about Jesus. These are not widely known among Christians, but they are part of authoritative Jewish texts.

In the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 43a, it states:

“On the eve of Passover they hanged Yeshu [Jesus]. And a herald went out before him for forty days, saying: ‘He is going to be stoned, because he practiced sorcery and enticed and led Israel astray. Let anyone who knows anything in his favor come and plead for him.’ But they found nothing in his favor, and they hanged him on the eve of Passover.”

In the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 107b, it states:

“Jesus the Nazarene practiced magic and led Israel astray.”

In the Tosefta, Hullin 2:22-23, it states that Jesus is being punished in hell, boiling in excrement for eternity.

These are not fringe texts. They are part of the Talmud, which is considered authoritative by Orthodox Judaism. The founder of Christianity is, in Judaism, considered an object of divine punishment. To call this a “shared tradition” is to mock both faiths.

The Foreskin Collection

The practice of collecting and preserving the foreskins removed during circumcision is a real practice in Jewish communities. The foreskins are sometimes buried in a special ceremony. Some sources indicate that they are used in Kabbalistic rituals.

The theological implication: The physical removal of the foreskin is considered essential for entering the covenant. Christianity teaches that circumcision is a matter of the heart, not the flesh. “For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.”

The Bottom Line

The two religions are not compatible. They are not part of the same tradition. They are not two branches of the same tree. They are mutually exclusive truth claims. One is true. The other is false. To pretend otherwise is to deny the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Part X: What History Says (The Church Fathers on Supersessionism)

The Christian Zionist claim that God has a separate plan for ethnic Jews is a novelty. It has no support in the first 1,800 years of Christian history.

The Early Church

Justin Martyr (100-165 AD), in his Dialogue with Trypho:

“For the true spiritual Israel, as is proved by all the discourses of Scripture, are we who have been led to God through this crucified Christ.”

Irenaeus of Lyons (130-202 AD), in Against Heresies:

“The Church is the people of God. The inheritance of the Jews was temporary; the inheritance of the Church is eternal.”

Origen (184-253 AD), in Against Celsus:

“The Jews have been cast off completely. The Church is the true Israel of God.”

The Medieval Church

“The Jews are witnesses to the truth of Scripture, but they are not the people of God. The Church is the Israel of God.”

Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274), in Summa Theologica:

“The ceremonies of the Old Law were abolished when the New Law came. The Jews are no longer God’s chosen people.”

The Protestant Reformers

Martin Luther (1483-1546), in On the Jews and Their Lies:

“The Jews have been rejected by God. They are no longer the people of God. The Church is the true Israel.”

John Calvin (1509-1564), in Institutes of the Christian Religion:

“The covenant that God made with Abraham is fulfilled in Christ and in the Church. The Jews who reject Christ have no claim on the covenant.”

There is no support for Christian Zionism in historic Christianity. It is a modern invention, created by a convicted felon (Scofield) and his followers, and promoted by Jewish organizations for their own purposes.

Part XI: Conclusion: Wake Up

The “Judeo-Christian” lie is the most successful propaganda campaign in the history of the Church. It has:

• Replaced the gospel of Christ with a political agenda.

• Redirected billions of dollars from Christian ministry to a foreign state.

• Corrupted the theology of tens of millions of believers.

• Silenced any Christian who dares to question the Israel-first orthodoxy.

• Made Christianity into a useful idiot for Jewish political interests.

The results are visible. American Christians support Israel unconditionally while Christians in Israel are persecuted. American Christians send money to Israel while their own churches decline. American Christians vote for politicians who serve Israeli interests while ignoring American interests. American Christians believe they are fulfilling prophecy when they are actually being used.

The same pattern is now repeating in Europe.

The way out is simple.

1. Stop using the term “Judeo-Christian.” It is a lie. Say “Christian” or “biblical.”

2. Stop reading Scofield. His footnotes are not Scripture. They are the opinions of a convicted felon.

3. Read the Church Fathers. They knew nothing of dispensationalism. They knew only Christ.

4. Look at what Israel actually does. Do not believe the propaganda. Look at the treatment of Christians. Look at the settlements. Look at the discrimination.

5. Put Christ first. Not Israel. Not prophecy. Not politics. Christ.

The Church is the Israel of God. The promises are fulfilled in Christ. The land is the whole earth. The kingdom is not of this world.

Bless Israel? No. Bless the Church. Bless Christ. And let the nations be judged by their treatment of His people, who are not defined by blood or land, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
